Balol bridge on the RS Pura road has really made life difficult for the people of the RS Pura and the entire border belt which is dependent on the entire road.

People say that around 3 ministers are representing the area in the Mufti cabinet but they are just sleeping aound with people facing difficulties.
Suman Bhagat, Gharu Ram and Trilok Singh Bajwa daily pass through their road but people allege are busy making hay while the sun shine.
Numerous vehicles includiing trucks, buses cars and tongas are stranded as both sides on the bridge have a small road opening which inhibits the movement of the vehicles.

" productive hours are lost, many engagements are missed, people lose important business all because the government is not ready to spend some money", said Vijay of RS Pura.

Rural infrasturure is in shambles and instead of pursuing thier own agendas the government should construct a bridge and solve the problems of the people, he adds.

Abhishek Jammu January 3
Thanks to all the news papers and electronic media of Jammu which has printed our photos on prominent places, for we were awarded by the Rasa javedani Society for promoting Urdu. whatever we did for Urdu and what we did not is different thing. But getting an awards and being recognized was a great thing.

In a sytem where motivation is scarce and work is considered to be a slough it was nice being recognized and feted. Perhaps the RJML Soceity could do well to make this award more prized and special. " For there is an ample space in the city of temples to recognize the excellent work being done by young journalists ofcourse under the guidance of the seniors".

One thing which is important is that "we should learn to appreciate each other and instead of running down each others work we should appreciate the same and motivate our breteren to produce better results". ofcourse this professioh is quite individualistic and needs people to be aggressive for jobs are scarce and supply of people is more. But we must not forget that perhaps the space is les on the peak but just below it there is a lot of place for all of us. not every one can be Shekhar Gupta but hard work and dedication could no less help us in realizing our potential.
